The Blood Pressure Service

The service is simple, confidential, and takes only a few minutes.

1. The Check

You will be invited into our private consultation room where a member of our team will take your blood pressure reading using an upper arm monitor. We may take several readings to ensure accuracy.

2. Result Interpretation

The pharmacist will explain what your numbers mean (systolic and diastolic pressure) and compare them against the recommended healthy ranges.

3. Next Steps

  • Normal Reading: We provide general lifestyle advice to help you maintain a healthy blood pressure.
  • High Reading: If your reading is elevated, the pharmacist will advise on lifestyle adjustments and may offer further monitoring or a formal referral to your GP for a definitive diagnosis and potential treatment.
